Treatment Overview

Starts after count recovery from Consolidation 1, with neutrophils greater than 1.5 x 109/L and platelets greater than 100 x 109/L.

Antifungal prophylaxis: Routine antifungal prophylaxis may be considered
Antiviral prophylaxis for herpes virus: Routine antiviral prophylaxis recommended
Emetogenicity: Variable

Antiviral prophylaxis for hepatitis B virus: Guidance is limited to high-risk anti-cancer medicines. Clinicians will need to assess individual patient risk for other anti-cancer medicines.


Emetogenicity:

  • LOW days 1 to 3;
  • MINIMAL to LOW (oral) days 4 to 15.
